Current Release Status

Our 1.0 Release is live! The Early Access journey has come to an end and the 1.0 release is live, with the game now live on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, XBOX Series X | S and PC on Epic Games Store, Jagex Launcher and Steam.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds (Steam game, app 1374490) was released on Sep 15, 2026. The game was only in early access for a year before launching its full 1.0 version on September 15th.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is leaving Early Access and launching on September 15th on XBOX Series X | S, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC platforms. It launched into Early Access in April 2025, and since then a heap of content has been added, including Major Updates with unique region expansions as well as the Fishing and Farming skills.

The developers are excited to see you taking on the God-Eater when it launches on September 15th, and they want the experience to be totally new and completely engrossing.

  • Bring the magic of RuneScape into your living room with Xbox Game Pass on September 15th.
  • Gather your party and step into RuneScape: Dragonwilds alone, or with up to 3 friends, and use the Nintendo Game Chat feature to stay in touch as you explore the continent and level up your skills.
  • Take on the Dragon Queen and her brood and reclaim the land of Ashenfall from their sinister clutches.
  • Check the Steam store page for RuneScape: Dragonwilds (app 1374490) to confirm the Sep 15, 2026 release listing.
