What RuneScape: Dragonwilds Is
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is developed by Jagex Ltd. It is a co-operative survival adventure set on RuneScape's forgotten continent of Ashenfall, where dragons have awoken. You gather, build, skill and craft, and only by mastering survival and uncovering ancient secrets can you hope to face the ferocious Dragon Queen.
You can step into Ashenfall alone or with up to 3 friends, taking on the Dragon Queen and her brood to reclaim the land from their sinister clutches.
The game is a paid title on Steam, released on Sep 15, 2026, and it supports Windows on Steam.
How to Start Playing
- Pick your platform. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is live on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, XBOX Series X | S and PC on Epic Games Store, Jagex Launcher and Steam.
- If you are playing on Nintendo Switch 2, you can use the Nintendo Game Chat feature to stay in touch as you explore the continent and level up your skills.
- On PC, the Steam version is a paid game, so expect to purchase it before installing.
- Before you install on Windows, check that your system meets the minimum requirements: Windows 10, an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 8 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, AMD Radeon RX 5600XT or Intel Arc A750 8GB graphics card, and DirectX Version 12.
